Education
Datapoint has developed an integrated educational programme that covers both the market background and hands on demonstration of next generation communication technologies. Since 2005, 1,500 delegates have participated in either our “Best Practice Forums” or “iLAB” demonstrations, using them as educational input to their roadmap planning.
There are a variety of public and onsite forums. These cover key topics in both enterprise and call centre communications. They are sourced from latest articles, public domain research, whitepapers, vendor presentations and internal evaluations.
Some are vendor neutral and focus on key technical and operational trends/best practices. Others provide a forum for a particular vendor or set of vendors to present their latest products and provide insight into their future roadmaps. Onsite forums are also provided. These allow for more in depth discussion around the impact of a particular technology trend on your organisation. They can be used as an educational input to brief people about the operational impact of a new technology on existing working practices before deployment, ensuring that change management plans are effective.
iLAB - Innovations Laboratory
Our iLAB or Innovations Laboratory provides tangible proof of concept that next generation technologies work. Our integration team have built a multi-vendor, multi channel, virtualised 800 seat call centre as the platform upon which to demonstrate key solutions.
