Datapoint’s project management methodology is based on Prince 2 principles and best practices from the Project Management Institute. Each project manager is trained to industry standards. The core role of Datapoint’s project management is to ensure the appropriate programme governance, organisation, reporting, and escalation structures are set up and adhered to throughout the lifecycle of project delivery.
Central to this is the setting up of a programme board which has overall ownership of the programme and provides a forum for key stakeholders. The project manager enables communication and co-ordination between this group and those involved in operational project delivery so that ongoing alignment of understanding and priorities is maintained.
